The new marketing trend in video games and movies will be
virtual reality technology, its applications are growing very fast and
attractive money at a rapid clip. Hardware and software in the space estimated
$90 million in 2014 but now it will be $2.3 billion revenue for 2015 worldwide.
In future as 2018, expects sales of virtual reality products would reach up to
$5.2 billion.
The major social media network as Facebook acquired VR
development Oculus in 2014. The Oculus Rift headset will be launched in January
2016. Google also did worked on Gear VR and selling its smartphones compatible Cardboard
VR viewer. Intel developed VR technology for Razer cameras that can be used as
Gaming controllers. This Razer technology will be launched in early 2016.
